Improved Condensation Resistance
DuraSeal increases the edge of glass temperature as much as 10% over U channel roll formed metal spacer, making windows warmer.

Less Conductivity
DuraSeal saves energy by insulating the frame and edge of glass 50% better than U channel roll formed metal spacers and 90% better than aluminum spacer bar.

  Reduced Total Window U-Valve
DuraSeal can reduce the total window U-Factor by up to 3% compared to U channel roll formed metal spacer and up to 6% compared to aluminum spacer bar. This percentage can be the difference in meeting EnergySTAR® requirements.
Continuous Moisture Vapor Barrier
DuraSeal’s impermeable continuous foil laminate barrier eliminates any short circuit at notched corners and has a consistent moisture vapor transmission path (MVP).
Low Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate
The extremely low permeability of DuraSeal’s proprietary high-performance adhesive resists moisture penetration into the IGU. The ability to keep moisture out is critical to long unit life.

Superior Argon Gas Retention
DuraSeal’s proven argon retention adhesive has been used in over 100 million insulating glass units. Minimal gas loss occurs after exposure to CGSB, ASTM, DIN or CEN seal durability tests. Regardless of how gas retention is evaluated, DuraSeal retains argon, thereby maintaining the thermal properties of windows long term.
Rapid Gas Filling with Liquid Argon
A patent pending technology injects liquid argon reducing unit dosing time from 2 minutes to 3.5 seconds compared to conventional gas filling methods thereby eliminating a productivity bottleneck.
Gridloc™ Muntin End Clips
TruSeal’s design of GridLoc™ Muntin End Clips allows for easy placement and secure retention of muntins without displacing the spacer during insertion.
